The U.K. holds a surprising
secret: it actually has great beaches. Not what you’d expect considering the
Northern climes. Experience them by getting a Standard Visitor visa to travel
to the U.K. for leisure. This visa allows you to stay in the country for up to
six months. That should be enough time for you to explore all you want. With
that said, here are a couple of secret beaches in the U.K.:
Cornwall
To the west of South Devon
lies Cornwall, another beach paradise for travellers. Chapel Porth is a perfect
example of a hidden treasure. It is a sandy bay surrounded by cliffs where you
can enjoy watching the sun go down, build sand castles on the beach and have a
taste of the delicious local food. If you are feeling more daring, venture out
to The Strangles.
Dorset
Dorset is a maritime county
in the southern part of England that would be perfect for anybody looking for a
secluded beach getaway. Eype Beach, for example, is found in the quiet area of
Eype village on the South West Coast Path. You might fancy Worbarrow Bay with
its wind-carved stones, chalky white and sandy brown rocks. You might also want
to check out Mupe Rocks to the east.
