Becoming an Exchange Student in Australia

There are many advantages to applying for student exchange programs. First of all, you are exposed to a new culture and language, from which you can learn substantially. The experience of being with new people also helps develop character and independence, and adds to your life experience.

Before jumping into the wagon, however, it would be helpful to know what to prepare for an Australian study visa application. Often, filling out a visa application form is all that’s needed. However, there may be times when the process could get tricky, such as when the embassy assesses your English proficiency, finances, immigration history, or even the circumstances of your home country before granting a visa.  If you want to avoid this hassle, approach a visa application agency or your school for assistance.

Your student visa comes with a permission to work, but for only 40 hours per fortnight. Remember that your purpose in going to Australia is to study, so you must do so diligently. Any violation of your visa conditions may result in cancellation of your visa.

An exchange student program is a very promising and worthwhile experience. If you think you can handle independent living and is longing to experience what the world has to offer, then this might be the program for you.

Get a Visa to Visit the U.K.’s Hidden Beaches

The U.K. holds a surprising secret: it actually has great beaches. Not what you’d expect considering the Northern climes. Experience them by getting a Standard Visitor visa to travel to the U.K. for leisure. This visa allows you to stay in the country for up to six months. That should be enough time for you to explore all you want. With that said, here are a couple of secret beaches in the U.K.:

Cornwall

To the west of South Devon lies Cornwall, another beach paradise for travellers. Chapel Porth is a perfect example of a hidden treasure. It is a sandy bay surrounded by cliffs where you can enjoy watching the sun go down, build sand castles on the beach and have a taste of the delicious local food. If you are feeling more daring, venture out to The Strangles.

Dorset

Dorset is a maritime county in the southern part of England that would be perfect for anybody looking for a secluded beach getaway. Eype Beach, for example, is found in the quiet area of Eype village on the South West Coast Path. You might fancy Worbarrow Bay with its wind-carved stones, chalky white and sandy brown rocks. You might also want to check out Mupe Rocks to the east.

The beautiful hidden beaches of the U.K. beckon. Pack your bags, get your papers in order and experience the sights for yourself. Find the best options for your visa application by going to comparison sites.
